Health Economics Centre mainly specializes in providing services to health and social care providers and institutions. During 1993-2019. Over 80 SEC projects were concerned with the health sector - health system management and financing, health insurance, public health, population health and service provision, health system resources and their allocation. Provided analysis of the situation not only assessed the situation in the health sector, but also the wider context of the country - the economic, social situation of the country, forecasts of possible changes both in the short term and in the long term. The SEC has also carried out a number of investigations which were commissioned by other sectors - Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Social Security and Labor, Sodra.

During 1993-2019. m. The SEC has implemented about 10 projects abroad – in Georgia, Romania, Turkey, Ukraine, Azerbaijan.
